I was so lucky to chat with Amelia Bice, an up and coming trail runner in Australia. The 11 year old recently completed a 9.9km trail race, where she noticed a pain in her stomach mid race. She toughed out the race and ran to the finish, only to be taken the hospital to have her appendix out that night! She's now fully recovered and looking to build up to run 20km one day. She may be young, but she's full of wisdom.
